When to Contact Human Support
Binance has self-service tools and FAQs for common issues, but the following deposit problems essentially require human intervention: on-chain deposit confirmed but balance unchanged, forgot to fill in Memo, wrong chain requiring fund recovery, C2C appeal needing support arbitration, deposit amount mismatch, or unexplained transactions in deposit history.
When self-service troubleshooting can't solve the problem, reach out to human support. Here's how to do it most efficiently.
If you don't have a Binance account yet, sign up for Binance and complete identity verification first. Downloading the Binance app is the most convenient way to contact support.
Through the Binance App
Open the app, tap your profile icon or "Personal Center," and find "Help & Support." You'll see the chatbot interface first. Type "live agent" or "human support" to request a transfer. Queue times are typically three to fifteen minutes, longer during peak hours.
When connected, send all key information at once: what happened (one sentence summary), your UID, the coin/amount/network, transaction hash, when it happened, and what you've already checked. This is far more efficient than back-and-forth Q&A.
Through Support Tickets
Issues requiring the technical team (wrong chain, forgotten Memo) usually need a ticket. Find "Submit a Request" in the support page, select "Deposit Issue," fill in details with screenshots. Ticket responses typically come within one to five business days; technical operations (like wrong-chain recovery) may take seven to thirty business days.
Through the Website
Log in to the Binance website — the support chat bubble is in the lower right corner. Same process as the app. The website is better for typing long descriptions or uploading multiple screenshots.
Social Media Channels
Official Twitter @binance can be tried but is slower than in-app support. Telegram groups exist but are full of scammers — real Binance staff never initiate private messages.
Preparation Checklist
Have these ready before contacting support: deposit history screenshot from the Binance app, transaction details from the block explorer, withdrawal record from the sending platform, your Binance UID screenshot, and for C2C issues, order details and payment proof.
Best Channel by Issue Type
Deposit not arrived (confirmed): Live chat — provide transaction hash. Forgot Memo or wrong chain: Submit ticket. C2C merchant dispute: File appeal on order page first. Deposit amount abnormal: Live chat with transaction hash and expected amount.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Binance have phone support
No public phone number. All support is through live chat and tickets. Any "Binance customer service phone number" found online is almost certainly a scam.
Does support handle Chinese
Yes. Binance has a Chinese support team available through live chat.
Can unverified accounts contact support
Yes, but help is very limited. Fund-related issues require completed KYC.
Security Tips
This cannot be stressed enough: Binance support will never proactively contact you through private messages, phone, SMS, or email. They will never ask for your password or verification codes. They will never ask you to transfer funds to "verify identity" or "unfreeze funds." Anyone claiming to be Binance support who contacts you first is 100% a scammer. Only communicate through the support channels within Binance's official platform.
